I was at the Lema Clinic last April, but due to certain circumstances and misunderstandings, we were unable to perform the planned surgery. At the time, we planned to reschedule the surgery for a date yet to be determined, and I paid a deposit of €1,000 before my departure. As my circumstances had changed, I asked the clinic to refund my deposit. However, the payment has still not been refunded! I cannot understand what could be so difficult about refunding my deposit of €1,000 to my bank account. I am slowly getting the feeling that this is just a delaying tactic. I find this behavior unacceptable and completely unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend this clinic in terms of administration!

This review reflects my personal experience. I was initially quoted 6,000 EUR, but upon arrival the price was increased to 9,900 EUR. After discussions with clinic representatives, a total of 7,000 EUR was agreed, and I paid 4,500 EUR in cash. No written contract was provided, and I relied on the clinic’s translator. The invoice was issued 2–3 months later. I was referred to another facility (VDS Clinic), where nine teeth were extracted, which was not clearly documented in advance. The implants placed did not fully match the original plan, and the temporary teeth were not functional. Later, I was informed that the final treatment would require a 12-day stay in Istanbul at my own expense, with no refund or alternative offered. I have reported the matter to the Turkish Ministry of Health and am considering further legal steps. I advise others to proceed with caution.

I stayed in Turkey for only 48 hours, strictly for a dental implant procedure. I didn’t even go out during my stay. From the moment I arrived at the airport, I already felt uncomfortable. I had the impression that everything was about money, and that I couldn’t fully trust the environment. Because of that feeling, I chose to stay inside and focus only on the medical procedure. Unfortunately, the dental implant experience itself turned into a disaster. The implant was poorly placed. I immediately had doubts about the positioning and asked the clinic several times before leaving the country if the implant placement was correct. I clearly expressed my concerns. Each time, they reassured me and told me everything was “perfect” and that I could safely leave Turkey. After returning to France, I consulted three different dentists, independently. All of them gave me the same verdict: 👉 The implant placement is wrong. 👉 The implant was placed directly through the root of one of my natural teeth instead of being fully anchored in the jawbone. 👉 As a result, my natural tooth is now dead and likely not salvageable. This is not a normal or acceptable outcome of dental implant surgery. An implant should never be placed into a natural tooth. It must be placed only in the bone, with a safe distance from adjacent teeth. Despite clear medical evidence and scans, Lema Clinic has never taken responsibility. They keep insisting that the implant placement is “perfect” and deny any wrongdoing, even though multiple dentists in France confirmed the error. What made the situation even worse is the financial behavior of the clinic. They repeatedly: added unexpected extra fees, changed the total amount without clear justification, pressured me to pay more, and continued to ask for additional payments despite the complication. I felt treated like a source of money rather than a patient. During my stay, I also met another patient from the UK who told me they experienced the same issue: unexpected additional fees and feeling scammed after initially agreeing on a price. I now have to return only to finish part of the process, and I will complete and correct the treatment in Paris, where accountability and medical ethics still exist. Looking back, I deeply regret going to Turkey for dental implants. In Paris, dental care is more expensive, but it is far more professional, transparent, ethical, and reliable. Doctors take responsibility for their work. I have heard that rhinoplasty procedures in Turkey may be better managed, and I may still consider Turkey for that specific reason. However, for dental implants, based on my personal experience, I strongly advise people to think very carefully before choosing Lema Clinic. This experience caused me unnecessary stress, medical damage, and financial pressure — all of which could have been avoided with proper care and honesty.

Everything was based on verbal promises — including their so-called 10-year warranty, which turned out to be meaningless since they refused to provide any written proof of it. Without documentation, patients have no protection and no transparency about what’s being done to their teeth. The most disturbing part of my experience was that they over-shaved my teeth excessively, leaving the roots nearly exposed. Afterward, they told me I needed a root canal — an additional, expensive procedure that they insisted I pay for immediately. It felt intentional, as if they had caused the problem to charge more. Throughout the process, the staff made a lot of friendly and empathetic promises, but 80% of them were never fulfilled. Instead, I was repeatedly pressured to pay extra fees, with no clear explanations or alternative options. It was evident that their main goal was profit, not patient care. I also noticed that the clinic takes before-and-after photos of patients for promotional purposes, but it wasn’t clearly explained how these images would be used or whether permission was obtained. They take “before and after” pictures of patients that they never give to patients. You can guess what they do with them. In summary, my experience with Lema Dental Clinic was one of broken promises, poor treatment, zero transparency, and unethical behavior. I left not only dissatisfied but also deeply concerned about how many other patients might be misled in the same way. If you value your health, your trust, and your money, I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic. What they advertise online is completely different from the reality they deliver.

Stay away from this clinic! I lost money that I paid for hotel, flight and deposit. I had an agreement with clinic to fix teeth with crowns. When I arrived, they started putting psychological pressure to remove all healthy teeth and put implants instead. When I refused, they did not want to do the work that was agreed in advance, and never returned my deposit saying it was used for consultation. I asked then to provide KT and examination results, and they never did. I wish I better used this 800 Euro in my country. They treat you like ATM machine only. Please carefully read the negative reviews - they are all true.

When I asked for a copy of my father’s treatment plan, I was told “no” in an aggressive manner, and informed that the brief notes written on my paper were enough. They also undercut the price significantly, which at first seemed attractive, but later felt like part of their pushy, high-pressure approach to get patients to agree quickly. Overall, the experience felt rushed, unprofessional, and sales-driven rather than patient-focused. For anyone considering treatment there — especially for complex procedures like zygomatic implants — take this as a serious warning.
