Formal Complaint Against Laura Dental Center – Antalya My name is Valbona Kreku, and I am writing this complaint to warn others and to formally report my extremely distressing experience at Laura Dental Center in Antalya. I visited this clinic in January 2025 together with my husband. What we experienced has seriously affected our health, confidence, and mental wellbeing. The clinic promised me German implants, but instead they placed Turkish implants without my consent. This is a serious breach of trust and honesty. Additionally, they removed my canine (dog) tooth without any medical reason, which caused excessive bleeding. Despite the amount of blood loss, no proper aftercare or medical follow-up was provided. I was told I would receive screwed implants, but instead the implants were glued, which was never explained or agreed upon. On the very first day of arrival, before any dental work was done, the clinic demanded half payment and the rest in June upfront cash payment they did not accept card payment this , put pressure on us while we were vulnerable and abroad. Communication was extremely poor. Most staff did not speak English, and during treatment they were laughing and speaking Turkish, which made me feel disrespected, unsafe, and humiliated while dental work was being carried out on me. The dental work itself was done very badly. Instead of improving my smile, they have destroyed my teeth and my confidence. I have been forced to return to the same clinic three separate times due to ongoing pain and serious implant problems. Each time, my concerns were ignored and I was told, “You don’t have any problems,” despite being in constant pain. They told me I needed 25 implants/teeth, which made no sense. I questioned this because a human mouth normally has 24 teeth, and instead of explaining professionally, the staff were rude, dismissive, and laughed at me. Because of the poor placement of the implants, I now bite the inside of my cheek constantly, causing pain, wounds, and difficulty eating. I am still in pain and feel deeply depressed about my appearance and the damage done to my mouth. Both my husband and I have been seriously affected physically, emotionally, and psychologically by this experience. I am now afraid to go to another clinic because of the trauma and loss of trust caused by Laura Dental Center. I strongly warn others to be very careful and avoid this clinic. In my opinion, this clinic is a serious risk to patients’ health and safety. I am submitting this complaint in the hope that it will be taken seriously and that others will not have to go through the same pain and suffering that we have experienced. I went early January this year with my partner They advertised and agreed for 12 German implants but they put Turkish instead Whatsoever from the beginning we’ve been asked to pay half of the money upfront in the reception before even seeing the dentist After 6month we went back July and finished with crowns Before we leave they ask to leave review and we handed our phone to them as they reviewed them self After couple of months I noticed my gums was not as they supposed to be The implants on the lower jaw was visible and when I smiled every one can see We went back second time in October and this time the changed the lower crown and they to small and my smile was disappeared I have paid over £8000 in total plus they charged me for seniors lift and bone graft which never been done It was cost me a fortune including travel second time accommodation and plus I lost my job for few weeks I strongly recommend to avoid the Laura dental center in Antalya as they are not professional

I came back from there on Saturday, 9th July and I would strongly advise not to use this place. Once they get you there, they think they have u and can charge extortionate prices. They delete all reviews that they don't like from facebook and instagram so these are not reiable to use for research. They then block you. I have two teeth missing from the side. A couple of major red flags for me: - Was initially quoted £1350. Cash was requested or an additional 5% commission by paying on card. X ray taken, then advised I would need a sinus lift (an additional £270) and 2 bone graftings (an additional £580). Neither of these was mentioned as a possibility, maybe additional costs/ operations after x-ray, so came as a complete surprise. They now wanted a total of £2500 (from the original quote of £1350 - NEARLY DOUBLE). - I didn't have the opportunity to check the complications of bone grafting and sinus lifting, so decided not to go ahead with these additional operations. Their disappointment at my decision was clear, they all started walking off in a huff. One even offered for me to pay £2000 now and £500 when I returned in 5 months. When I left, the lady that had been whatsapping me followed me out and starting saying "you have to think about your future health" and "We are here to make you happy", very pushy and a very hard sell - I have two teeth missing from the side and I wasn't too bothered about the one you couldn't really notice, so only queried about 1 implant, they insisted that I needed two implants - You are surrounded by so many staff, there was about 10 staff in the room with me when they showed me my x-ray, ranging from directors, business partners, receptionist, specialists etc. Felt a bit intimidating - Because I spent so much money going over there on the flights and hotel, I thought I might as well go for a clean at least now I'm here. I was quoted £70. In London where I live, the price for a clean in also £70, so please ensure that you research this. - I met another lady in the hotel who was from Liverpool and used Laura Dental and her teeth started falling out. She confirmed that they did end up giving her £700 refund due to her teeth falling out. This made me so happy I decided against letting them near me. - Feel that they are false advertising and I wasted money going over there, for the price to double up and extra operations to be needed that I was not informed of. In Summary: - please be aware that the price you are quoted will double after you arrive, - they are taking advantage of desperate, vulnerable people who will get loans out and get in debt in order to get their teeth done. - Once you are there, thinking it's one price, some people will go ahead and pay double the initial quote now they've spent the money, time and effort to get there. - I just couldn't not write this review to warn people and I did some research, so please be careful - Once they get u there, they take advantage of desperate people - when I queried why sinus and bone grafting wasnt mentioned as a possibility after x Ray, they conviently forgot how to speak English It really would have been a nice gesture to return something from the money I spent going over to u without any warning of additional procedures
