Hollywood Dental Clinic Izmir – Misleading, Rushed, and a Complete Waste of Time I travelled to Izmir based on an original quote of £3,600 for 20 E-max veneers, which was clearly discussed over the phone before I travelled. I sent photos in advance and was explicitly told that E-max veneers were suitable and recommended for me. I made it very clear this was the treatment I wanted and nothing else. Once I arrived, the story completely changed. I was told the alignment of my teeth supposedly wasn’t suitable for veneers and was instead pushed towards crowns, which would involve shaving down 20 perfectly healthy teeth into tiny pegs. This is a life-changing, irreversible procedure and something that should have been identified before I spent money travelling — not once I was already there and under pressure. The pricing raised even more red flags. They were still trying to charge me £3,600, refused to move on price at all, despite people I personally know having treatment at this same clinic for around £2,500. Crowns are also meant to be cheaper than veneers, so none of this added up and felt extremely misleading. The entire process felt rushed and transactional. There was no real care taken to properly explain options or risks — it genuinely felt like the priority was to get people in, take their money, and move them out as quickly as possible. On top of this, I was forced to pay £300 for one night in a hotel and short transfers, with no real choice. The hotel was not 5-star as advertised — no hot water, terrible breakfast, and rude staff. The transfers to and from the clinic and airport were also over 30 minutes late every single time, adding even more stress. While staying at the hotel, I spoke to several other patients who had been treated by Hollywood Dental, all of whom described awful experiences. Some said they were still suffering from ongoing tooth problems and had already had to travel back multiple times to fix issues. Hearing this completely confirmed I’d made the right decision to walk away. To make matters worse, Izmir itself was very disappointing. There was nothing around, the area felt run-down, and it didn’t feel like a pleasant or safe place to be if you’re expecting any kind of trip alongside treatment. Overall, this was a huge waste of time and money, with misleading assessments, inconsistent pricing, rushed treatment, and poor communication. I’ve decided to pay more and have the work done properly and safely in the UK instead. Would not recommend.

I travelled to this clinic in Turkey for cosmetic dental treatment and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Initially, we agreed on a treatment plan involving 20 crowns for €3,500. However, while I was there, I changed my mind and decided to proceed with a much smaller treatment consisting of only 3 veneers and 1 crown on my front teeth. As most people know, this type of treatment is significantly less extensive and less costly than the original plan. Despite this change, none of the remaining balance from the €3,500 has been refunded. In addition, one veneer became loose just three days after placement, and although I was asked to submit documentation for reimbursement related to corrective treatment, I have still not received any payment. Since then, another veneer has also become loose, resulting in additional stress, inconvenience, and unexpected costs after returning to my country. Communication and customer service have also been frustrating. Responses were often delayed or unclear, leaving me without proper guidance or resolution. While accommodation and transportation were arranged, the durability of the dental work and the follow-up support did not meet my expectations. During my stay, I also spoke with several other patients at the hotel who shared dissatisfaction with their own experiences, which further raised concerns. Whatever response the clinic may provide to this review, I want to state that my experience is based on documented communication, including messages and screenshots. I strongly encourage potential patients to carefully research and consider other options before choosing this clinic.
