Avoid this place

Before booking or visiting this place, please read this carefully to avoid the same negative experience and surprises that I encountered. I discovered this place on Instagram and reached out to them. I was contacted by a woman named Irem, who I believe is a representative that brings in customers from abroad for the dental clinic. She provided a quote of 24 zircon crowns and 12 implants for £4,995 after I sent images of my mother's teeth and a partial x-ray. Irem mentioned that if bone grafting was needed, the cost might increase. The final price would be determined after an x-ray with the dentist. Upon our arrival in Izmir, we were provided with accommodation at Majura Hotel Business, which I would rate as 2.5/3 stars. The hotel was basic and in need of an upgrade. It was disappointing that the clinic did not provide a more comfortable stay, especially for patients undergoing surgery. We arrived on Tuesday at noon and had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 pm. This left little time to enjoy Izmir before our treatment, which was frustrating as we had hoped for a quick visit. During the appointment on Wednesday, we were quoted £6,500 instead of the previously agreed £4,995 due to the need for bone grafting. We negotiated a price of £6,400 after some back and forth with Irem. However, we were then charged an additional £400 for paying by card instead of cash, which was not communicated to us beforehand. After deciding not to proceed with the treatment, we were charged £100 for the x-ray and £100 for the airport transfer, which we later discovered were excessive fees. The consultation stage is free everywhere in Izmir after we tried a couple. No one charged us. They robbed us with £100. In the uk I live one hour from the airport and they charged us £77 lol. I could have easily walked away but because I was with my poor mum and wanted to end this quick as. The lack of transparency and professionalism from the reception team was concerning, as they did not provide any invoices or receipts. The reception team's behaviour was rude and unprofessional, and they showed little concern for our well-being once they had received payment. Additionally, we were informed that products from Israel were used at this clinic! The implant brand is called Alfa and it is made in Israel. I asked Irem where is the brand made and she told me Israel. They have other brands from Germany. So be careful. We should be boycotting anyone that helps that country financially. They kill children. This is enough reason not to use this clinic. In the end, we managed to get my mother's teeth treated for £5,200 somewhere else. My advice would be to avoid booking through a representative and instead arrange your flight and accommodation independently. Booking directly with the clinic may result in a better price, as prices offered to British citizens tend to be higher. There are far better and cheaper places in turkey to get your teeth done and offer better hotel stays (it’s very important because after surgery you will want somewhere comfortable and nice to stay)
