Good Looking Veneers But Unhygienic Results And Pain

I had zirconia crown veneers done at Dentatur Antalya in March 2024. My smile looks good and the clinic was professional, clean and modern, so initially I was satisfied. However, shortly after returning home I developed persistent sensitivity in one of my lower left molars that made chewing uncomfortable, particularly with meat. I have been diligent with my oral hygiene throughout, so this was not a care issue on my part. I eventually had the affected tooth assessed by a dentist back home. She found that the veneer margin did not extend fully to the gumline, and noted that the veneers generally are not designed in a way that supports good hygiene — creating an ongoing inflammation risk. She also suspected that too much tooth material had been removed during tooth preparation, leaving my nerve too close to the chewing surface. Her assessment was direct: I will likely need more veneers redone over time. The sensitive tooth may still require a root canal if things don't improve. In the meantime, I have already had one veneer replaced at my own expense — costing me over $600 CAD out of pocket for work that should have been done correctly the first time. The sensitivity has improved somewhat since the replacement, but it has not resolved, and I don't yet know what further costs are ahead of me. I do not recommend Dentatur. Stay away.

Good dental work, but excessive waiting times

The dental work itself was very good, and I am happy with the results. The clinic is also very clean and professional. However, I am only giving three stars because of the waiting times, which I experienced on both of my visits, one in June and one in December. I felt this showed a lack of respect for patients’ time. If I am brought to the clinic at 10am, I would reasonably expect to wait no more than an hour. Instead, several patients are picked up at the same time, meaning you can arrive in the morning and not see the dentist until much later in the day. On one day, I was picked up at 09:30 and did not leave until 18:00, yet I only spent about 45 minutes with the dentist. During that same day, another patient was picked up on the same transport as me and was scheduled to be put to sleep to have all of his teeth removed. I saw him still waiting in the waiting room at around 16:00, and he told me they had not seen him at all yet. He was extremely scared, mainly because of how long he had been waiting, and he felt there was a lack of empathy towards him. I agree with him. It felt like patients were all collected early simply to save on transport costs. If the timing were communicated honestly, I would have preferred to take public transport and arrive closer to my actual appointment time. I understand that everyone is there to have dental work done, but that does not mean patients’ time should not be respected. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the procedure, but the excessive waiting times significantly affected my experience, so I feel three stars is fair.

Very disappointing experience with Dentatur Atalya Dental Clinic I booked an appointment for 11:00 AM on Monday, 3rd November, but even after two hours of waiting, nobody took me for treatment or explained the delay. The staff were unorganised and showed no care for patients’ time. Before coming from the UK, I asked if the implant warranty would be provided before the treatment and was told yes. However, when I arrived, they said the warranty would only be given after all treatments were completed, which was not what they had promised. Communication through WhatsApp was also very poor I waited two days for replies and often got no clear answers. I even have proof of our WhatsApp conversation showing how they messaged me two hours later, asking me to come back to the clinic, and how I was completely ignored after the implant procedure.I asked few times when I need to back for the next appointment to fix the tooth crown and they completely ignore me. I chose this clinic because of good reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was completely the opposite: long waiting times, misleading information, poor communication, and unprofessional service. I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.

I am not giving my name as I do not do social media as it is a minefield frequented by a lot of a unsavoury deviants. I also do not think I owe anything more than the £3,000 I gave to Dentataur plus the 2 Airbnbs and 4 Turkish plane flights fares. Are Dentataur going to compensate me? No because everyone is made to sign a disclaimer at the last minute. My verbal complaint was dismissed by a rude customer care manager and I was ridiculed by your team for being upset. You left me with a cleft gum which you made. I was dumped in your empty cafe/ sign-up room/ recovery suite with 1 piece of gauze which was soon saturated with blood to recover alone with blood gushing out of the wound for over an hour with no proper instructions and nobody checking and insufficient pain relief. I was sent home to my Airbnb without a written discharge summary or written aftercare instructions. I had to use google to look them up on my own initiative. Now you are vetting reviews so you get false Trustpilot ratings. Atrocious! My teeth are a total mess. I am so genuinely upset. These are my teeth my gums and They are ruined. I am a human being just like you and I did not come for a holiday. I came hoping for professional and conscientious treatment. Why would I lie? Do you not see English people as humans like yourself? I work alongside Turkish colleagues and my children go to school with Turkish friends. Why are you disrespecting your patients and taking advantage of the vulnerable?
