Be aware…

I met a so-called “consulting dentist” in Copenhagen at Hotel Imperial on May 2nd, 2026, for a treatment planning consultation. Unfortunately, the experience felt highly unprofessional. The examination itself was extremely brief and, in my view, not conducted under proper clinical conditions. There was no dedicated dental equipment or proper lighting to clearly assess the dentition, and the consultation lasted barely a couple of minutes before a diagnosis was given. This left me surprised, as it did not match what I would normally expect from a dental consultation. After leaving the appointment, I discussed the experience with other potential clients in the hotel lobby and realized they had similar doubts about the process. Shortly afterward, we saw the same practitioner outside the hotel entrance smoking cigarettes, which further contributed to my concerns about the professional standards being represented. I later conducted some research on DCI, but was unable to find clear and reassuring information regarding long-term guarantees, the credentials of the dentists and surgeons involved, or the documentation and traceability of materials such as implants and zirconium crowns. Given these concerns and the overall lack of transparency, I requested a refund of my €100 deposit, which was eventually processed after several hours of communication with the coordinator.

I strongly DO NOT recommend this clinic. I paid a €150 deposit during a consultation in Cork (Maldron Hotel). After that, all communication completely stopped. It has been over a month and no one has contacted me – no treatment plan, no updates, absolutely nothing. Due to the complete lack of communication, I was forced to withdraw from their services. Despite this, the clinic refuses to refund the deposit, claiming it is “non-refundable”, even though the situation is entirely caused by their lack of response and follow-up. This gives the impression that their priority is to collect money rather than provide proper patient care. Additionally, their prices are extremely high compared to other clinics offering similar services. Very unprofessional, poor communication, and no respect for the customer. I strongly advise others to be cautious before making any payment. Update: The clinic’s response is misleading. I was never contacted directly despite being told I would be. I made multiple attempts to reach you (email, WhatsApp), and received no response. The fact that I had to search for contact details myself only proves the lack of proper communication on your side. This is not a misunderstanding — this is negligence. Additionally, I am still waiting for clarification on how my personal data was obtained by another clinic.

Avoid this clinic

Avoid this clinic even if it looks nice and attractive, they are dishonnest and only care about money . They give you a price by phone and when you arrive there they try to raise the bill. But if you refuse they'll do the work anyway. That simple fact shows their crooked state of mind. Then if there is a problem as there was with me they simply refuse to do anything and don't hesitate to lie and contest the written expertise of a well known dentist. At the end it will cost more money and be happy if it s only money because look around on the internet I'm not the only one to have experienced their bad faith and for some unfortunate people it cost them their health.
