Warning: This is not a review — this is a real medical nightmare I received a so-called “Hollywood smile” treatment at Prime Clinic, Istanbul, where Dr. Ersin Arıcan placed 27 dental crowns. All 27 crowns were placed on initially healthy teeth. It was only after returning to Canada that I discovered that all crowns had been placed in pairs — each crown was connected to its neighbor. Until that moment, I had no idea that they were placing crowns in this way. When I asked why the crowns were not placed individually, I was told that the clinic “does not provide a guarantee” on single crowns. In this way, I was forced to accept a technically and biologically unsafe solution under the pretext of a so-called “guarantee,” without being informed of the risks and consequences. On my second visit for implant placement, the doctor performed a deep cleaning, even though I had already had this procedure three times, and assured me that everything with my teeth was fine. I had a toothache, and he told me that he would clean the root canal when I returned for crown placement. It later turned out that the problem was gum pain caused by cement left under the crowns. Under every crown, there was cement that gradually destroyed my gums, and my gums were practically decayed, rising and detaching from the teeth. When my teeth were removed here in Canada, the gums were literally falling apart. The situation looked extremely severe and horrifying. The crowns were manufactured and installed with serious defects: overhanging margins, excess cement, and severe bite alignment errors. My lower teeth constantly contacted and damaged the upper teeth. As a result, I experienced severe, late-stage periodontal inflammation. When crowns are placed in pairs, access for interproximal hygiene is blocked. Cleaning between teeth becomes impossible, which inevitably leads to chronic gum inflammation, tissue destruction, and permanent damage to the periodontium — regardless of the quality of home care. When I reported the complications to the clinic, I was told that the cause was “poor oral hygiene,” which is completely false. Prior to the treatment, my gums were completely healthy, with no periodontal disease. This was followed by a series of contradictory explanations, misinformation, and attempts to avoid responsibility. Throughout the process, there was extensive dishonesty, misrepresentation of facts, and systematic denial of responsibility. The clinic offered to redo the work only with the same doctor who had already made serious mistakes, which was completely unacceptable and irreparably undermined trust. After returning to Canada, I consulted several independent dentists, including a university professor with over 35 years of clinical experience. All confirmed that the treatment grossly violated professional and ethical dental standards. As a result, I was forced to completely remove and replace all 27 crowns in Canada, at a very high financial cost. Only after the full replacement did the pain, inflammation, and gum damage stop. I did not write a review earlier because I had intended to take legal action. However, I have now decided that I no longer want any involvement with this and want to forget it as a terrible nightmare. It is important to understand that once you leave this clinic, you will not recover your money or justice. Proving responsibility is extremely difficult — promises, reassurances, and “guarantees” are not backed by real accountability. All medical records, expert opinions, photographs, and correspondence have been preserved and documented. This statement reflects my real experience with Prime Clinic and Dr. Ersin Arıcan. Please be extremely cautious.

Clinic Prime Istanbul ISTMarina AVM Kartal – Review Leaving a negative review is the last thing I wanted to do, but unfortunately, my experience with Clinic Prime has left me no choice. I wanted to post photos, but reviewers cannot upload images for this clinic, which limits transparency for anyone considering their services. You can see the chipped zirconium in my profile picture with the titanium frame and implant clearly visible. My all-on-6 full arch treatment here has left me with ongoing problems. When I asked for corrections via WhatsApp, the clinic stopped replying. Main problems Midline deviation: ~2.5mm, affecting both function and appearance. Chip in zirconium prosthesis: dismissed as “not a problem for function.” Colour mismatch: The top arch (shade 1M1) doesn’t match the bottom. The top was replaced after my lip kept catching and sticking on my teeth when speaking or smiling, by the time I returned 7 months later to get the top arch the bottom arch had yellowed. My request to correct this was ignored. In my opinion, these results fall well below the standard expected from a professional clinic. I’m sharing my experience so others can make fully informed choices about dental tourism. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions only. Photos: Reviewers are currently unable to upload images for this clinic, which makes it harder for others to see results clearly. Prosthesis issues – At no point did I request a thinner prosthesis. My issue was that the upper arch was catching on my lip when I smiled or spoke. Instead of fixing the problem correctly by replacing both arches, the clinic chose to remake only the top arch and forced it to fit the bottom. This left it so thin at the point where the lip was sticking that it chipped. Claims that I “asked” for this are false. Follow-up care – My messages asking for help were ignored. Promises of ongoing support are meaningless when communication is cut off. From my firsthand experience, this clinic dismisses legitimate concerns and shifts responsibility for treatment issues onto the patient. I strongly advise anyone considering treatment here to proceed with caution. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions only.

Die Clinik Prime ist die reinste Katastrophe. Gehen sie dort auf gar keinen Fall hin. Die Ärztin hat die Implantate zu nahe zusammen gesetzt. Es musste in Deutschland wieder entfernt werden da kein Knochen dazwischen war und somit das Implantat keinen Halt hatte. Das untere Implantat wurde schräg gesetzt viel zu nah an der Wurzel meines gesunden Zahnes.Siehe Foto.Diesen musste ich aufgrund dieses fatalen Fehlers ziehen lassen. Vor Ort wollen sie wesentlich mehr Geld. Riesenabzocke. Ich bereue es ohne Ende dass ich bei Clinik Prime war. Leider kann ich keine weiteren Fotos hinzufügen um zu beweisen wie katastrophal die Arbeit von Clinic Prime war. Clinik Prime is a complete disaster. Don't go there under any circumstances. The doctor placed the implants too close together. They had to be removed in Germany because there was no bone between them and the implant had no hold. The lower implant was placed at an angle, much too close to the root of my healthy tooth.See Foto. I had to have it pulled because of this fatal mistake. They want a lot more money there. A huge rip-off. I regret going to Clinik Prime forever. Unfortunately I can't add more photos to prove how catastrophic the work of this clinic was
