This review reflects my personal experience with this clinic

This review reflects my personal experience following extensive dental treatment at this clinic in Turkey. I had 20 crowns replaced and 26 new crowns fitted. At the time of treatment, it was represented to me that the work was covered by a five-year guarantee. Immediately after fitting, I was experiencing severe pain. I returned to the clinic, where a root canal was carried out through a newly placed crown. I travelled home the same day. Subsequently, I developed an infection in the roof of my mouth in the area of that treatment and required three courses of antibiotics. I continue to experience symptoms in that area. The pain persisted. I experienced an incorrect bite, widespread tooth sensitivity, and ongoing facial and nerve-type pain, with my entire mouth and jaw aching. Throughout this time, I kept the clinic informed of the bite issues, sensitivity affecting all teeth, and the nerve-type pain I was experiencing. After multiple communications, the clinic agreed for me to return and advised that any necessary remedial treatment would be covered, which I understood to be in line with the guarantee that had been explained to me. During this visit, the clinic initially stated that they could not find anything wrong with my teeth or on xray and initially advised i just persevere. I explained that my whole mouth was in so much pain and discomfort that it could not be dismissed. I was then advised that the crowns would need to be removed in order to assess what was happening underneath. This was THEIR recommendation, made in response to the symptoms I had reported. I did not request this and found the prospect extremely distressing. As this is not an easy process to go through and for a second time in close succession. I was also was extremely worried about further damage to my teeth, but I knew I had little choice. When crowns were removed, it was identified that multiple additional root canal treatments were required. At that stage, I was informed that further treatment would only proceed at additional cost, which differed from my understanding of the previously stated guarantee and assurances given before I travelled. Following this, I was later informed that my reaction had been interpreted as aggresive. I do not agree with this. I was crying, upset and distressed by the pasituation but did not behave aggressively in any way, I could barely speak at this point. After expressing dissatisfaction with my experience and being mislead. On return to hotel, I received messages stating that my actions were considered aggressive and defamatory. I do not believe these descriptions accurately reflect any of my behaviour. During this period, I was unable to eat properly for approximately six weeks, experienced significant weight loss, and was in ongoing pain. The clinic later suggested that my concerns related primarily wanting a different shade of teeth, as I merely mentioned this, as at this stage i was even questioning in my mind whether i had the correct teeth fitted, and I disagree with there accusation. I have contemporaneous messages and photographs shared with family and friends documenting my condition during this time and shared those with the clinic. In which there response made me feel devailided, belittled and insulted my integrity. I felt I had little option but to undergo further treatment at additional personal cost. After returning to the UK, I continued to experience problems, including ongoing pain, further root canal treatment pain, suction issues with a bridge, bite problems, extreme dry mouth, and unusual sensations in the teeth. I contacted the clinic to explain my ongoing situation and express disappointment at the lack of follow-up. I was advised that there are no guarantees with dental treatment and that any further work would be chargeable, which conflicted with my earlier understanding of a five-year guarantee. I was also told my case was considered isolated. However. I travelled with two others that are experiencing issues and are requiring further root canal treatments, however, due to my treatment they felt unable or unwilling to contact clinic. Also one other that we met at hotel and kept in touch with has also returned to clinic to have 5 other root canals carried out. This does not seem so isolated after all. When I requested copies of my dental records and scans, I was subsequently blocked from further communication channels. I was also advised that legal action might be taken if I discussed my experience publicly. This experience has resulted in ongoing health issues and financial cost and ongoing issue to resolve. I am sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision and consider seeking independent advice before undergoing complex dental treatment abroad.

Arkedinz is a sister company of VK smile and I’ve received treatment from VK smile in turkey Antalya and had my work done by the top dentist and owner , I’ve been back and forth for the last 8 months and received the most horrific treatment , from implants falling out continuously because of shoddy work and low quality implants I’ve been I intimidated into handing over more and more money personally threatened by the bosses brother head of finance, my implants had to be changed 3 times totally for different brands because they just kept falling out , when I received temporary teeth they fell out in days of being home and I was told to wait 3 months with no teeth whatsoever , when eventually VK smile arranged for my treatment they changed implants yet again pulling them out of my jaw like teeth but unlike teeth they are screed into my jaw so you can imagine the pain , and this I feel was revenge for me telling people my experience, when I finally recieved my final teeth and after I came home they also snapped as in the whole prosthetic implant, so yet again I went back to turkey where my implants were ripped out of my face again and long story short I was given a prosthetic that doesn’t fit and that implants are clearly visible , when saying to the dentist implants hanging out I was told they would not pay for anymore treatment and blocked from having anyway of contacting them about warranty work in future or about the fact my implants are still hanging out and after spending near 10k on treatment, and still having a unusable set of teeth with 💯 chance of infection because implants are visible(the steel screws that hold the teeth )the after care in leciter is a photoshop picture and no such place exists , the hotels they give you in my own experience are dirty and have continuous problems with electrics hot water and the transfers are a joke , your left at thier mercy ,,, this dentist especially the head dentist and owner is so corrupt and willing to say absolutely anything to relieve you of your hard earned cash , leaving me now with no way to get the teeth I was assured and promised I’d get after paying my money ,,, my advice is stay away from VK smile, there are plenty of actual dentists that will look after you and give you the teeth you want , luckily I’ve taken pictures screenshots voice recordings of what I’ve been through to prove what they’ve done not only to me but a lot of people , those who have something to say against this corrupt company will be blocked from anyway of being able to contact them or any of their clients to warn them ,,, clearly VK smile do this time and time again because in the end they think nothing can be done when things go terribly wrong they get away with it Scott free ,,,further to coming back and trying to get them to do something they’ve barraged me with messages and phone calls threatening to tell my girlfriend I had another woman in my room , I’ve got screenshots !and voice recorded messages ! Saying they’ll send her videos , even bringing other clients into the argument , client being a sweet young girl from wales , she is obviously beside herself being brought into my treatment , also being told I’m a druggy that I’m on all sorts of drugs to which I said I’d supply a full drug test ! ,,, VK SMILE. Will literally try to do anything they can to defame you and discredit you in any event of things being difficult !!!! For gods sake please share this review , I’m not the only one from this dentist report butchery and unfair treatment,,,, as you can see in thier comment they are trying to say that my dog broke a titanium prosthetic,,, not the brital bone it’s screwed to bit the titanium plate between teeth and gum , it’s laughable to be honest ,,, they’ve tried using excuse after excuse but the reality is they’ve sent me home with a incorrectly fitting prosthetic which means theses implants will fail too ! I’ve took actual professional advice and they agree I need a correctly fitting prosthetic if I have any hope of implants being viable ,,, I also have voice recordings of being threatened and-intimidated by bosses brother head of finance ,,, me and my girlfriend were locked in a room for 3 hours with 3 men tryingto intimidate us for moremoney , to which I have recordings ! I can prove everything I say ,,,VK SMILE can’t prove any of the lies they say because none of it is true , anyone wishing to contact me personally are welcome
